Management Couple / Lodge Manager | Luxury Lodge | Greater Kruger Greater Kruger Salary: Negotiable DOE Benefits | Live-in Kendrick Recruitment is seeking either an experienced Management Couple or a single Lodge Manager for a high-end luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger area. The successful applicants will ensure exceptional guest experiences, seamless operational performance, and the ongoing development of the lodge. Applicants for the single Lodge Manager role do not need guiding qualifications; however, guiding experience is highly advantageous. ✨ Single Lodge Manager – Duties & Responsibilities Guest Services • Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently • Foster a warm, welcoming environment to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally • Conduct game drives if qualified, or arrange freelance guides as needed Lodge Operations • Maintain high operational and service standards across the lodge • Arrange relief staff when required • Manage housekeeping and supervise housekeeping teams • Oversee gardens, maintenance, and general lodge upkeep • ️ Arrange and supervise lodge maintenance projects when needed Administration • Complete and submit month-end reports • Submit salaries for monthly payment • Manage ordering and control of stock, consumables, and lodge assets Desired Experience & Qualifications • Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent • ⛑️ Valid First Aid qualification • FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) advantageous • DEAT registration advantageous • Valid PDP advantageous Skills • Strong leadership with the ability to motivate a diverse team • ️ Broad operational experience across HR, administration, FOH, guest relations, and lodge operations • Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • ️ Proficiency in Excel and Word • ⏱️ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities • ⭐ High attention to detail and ability to lead by example • ‍‍‍ Staff management experience • Passion and drive to develop the lodge to its full potential ✨ Management Couple – Duties & Responsibilities Her Role – Guest Services, Administration & Housekeeping • Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently • Foster a warm, welcoming environment for guests • Address guest concerns and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction • Ensure lodge standards are maintained at all times • Arrange relief housekeepers and oversee housekeeping staff • Complete and submit month-end reports • Submit salaries for payment • Manage ordering and control of stock, consumables, and lodge assets His Role – Guiding & Lodge Operations • Conduct daily game drives as a full-time guide • Host and welcome guests • Oversee gardens, maintenance, and general lodge upkeep • ️ Assist with operational duties where required Qualifications & Skills – Her • Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent • Strong leadership and team motivation abilities • ️ Full operational understanding across HR, administration, FOH, and guest experience • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • Strong knowledge of lodge operations • ️ Proficiency in Excel and Word • ⭐ High attention to detail and problem-solving skills • ⏱️ Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities • Able to lead by example and work independently Qualifications & Skills – Him • FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) • DEAT registered • Valid PDP • ⛑️ Valid First Aid qualification • ️ Strong operational knowledge across maintenance, guiding, and guest experience • Experience managing gardens and lodge maintenance • Staff management experience • Ability to operate independently
