About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a dynamic and skilled Marketing and Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving marketing efforts, generating leads, and converting bookings for the company’s clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Identify target audiences (e.g., families, adventure travelers, business tourists).
- Analyze competitors and industry trends.
- Collect customer feedback to improve services.
- Branding & Promotion:
- Develop a strong brand identity for the destination or service.
- Create and distribute promotional materials (brochures, videos, ads).
- Manage online presence (website, social media, blogs).
- Digital Marketing:
- Run online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
- Optimize search engine rankings (SEO).
- Manage social media engagement and influencer collaborations.
- Partnerships & Public Relations:
- Collaborate with travel agencies, airlines, and tour operators.
- Engage with travel bloggers and media for coverage.
- Organize travel fairs, expos, and press trips.
- Content Creation & Storytelling:
- Write engaging travel blogs, articles, and itineraries.
- Produce high-quality photos and videos to showcase destinations.
Requirements
### Education & Qualifications
- Diploma in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in digital marketing, sales, or travel management (optional but beneficial).
### Skills & Competencies
- Market research & trend analysis.
- Digital marketing (SEO, Google Ads, social media).
- Branding, promotion & storytelling.
- Creativity & innovative campaign development.
- Strong communication & networking skills.
Experience
- Entry-level (0-2 years): Internships or assistant roles in tourism marketing/sales.
- Mid-level (3-5 years): Experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel sales/marketing.
- Senior-level (5+ years): Leadership experience in tourism marketing/sales.
Tools & Software Knowledge
- Marketing Tools: Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, Adobe Suite.
- Sales Tools: CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot), email marketing tools.
- Booking & Reservation Systems: Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport (for travel agencies).
