About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at a wine estate in Stellenbosch/Brackenfell. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the restaurant outlet, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the restaurant outlet
  • Training staff
  • Overseeing food quality and developing menus
  • Maintaining revenue, profitability, and quality goals
  • Ensuring efficient restaurant operation with high standards
  • Empowering employees to deliver exceptional service
  • Providing excellent guest service and soliciting guest feedback

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Formal qualification (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 4 years of luxury restaurant/hotel experience
  • WSET/CWA certification (advantageous)
  • Computer literate and analytically skilled
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexible with working hours
  • Physically fit
