About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and working closely with other departments to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and overseeing production schedules
- Managing a team of production planners
- Planning internal and external production activities
- Managing relationships between internal production departments and external CMT vendors
- Coordinating quality control activities
- Formulating accurate production forecasts based on planned sales and production volumes
- Managing day-to-day operations in conjunction with the Head of Production
Requirements
- Proven Production Planning and Production Management skills
- At least 6-8 years Experience with developing and overseeing Production Schedules, Planning and Production Management
- Strong Analytical Skills and general Planning skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented and deadline driven environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering or related field
