About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team at That Wood Work Company. As an all-rounder with a friendly and approachable personality, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of kitchen cabinets and bespoke furniture. You will work on various projects, from start to finish, and be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Physical assembly and accurate installation of kitchen and other cabinetry, countertops, and related components
- Working with various materials, machinery, and power/hand tools
- Preparing tools and materials required for site
- Handling materials efficiently and safely during transportation and installation
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, respecting clients’ property
- Adhering to safety and quality standards
- Resolving any installation/on-site issues
- Communicating effectively with clients and co-workers
Requirements
- 3 years experience in the construction and installation of cabinets and general carpentry
- Experience in measuring up and generating cut lists
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings, specifications, and plans
- Valid B driver’s license
- Healthy lifestyle, sober habits, and physical ability to install cupboards and lift heavy materials
Qualifications
- Formal education or certifications in carpentry or a related field (if applicable)
