About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our Group’s technology strategy and operations across multiple locations in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational stability, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, while fostering a culture of innovation among IT staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop IT policies, manage budgets, oversee team performance, ensure system uptime, and manage vendors.
- Bridge technical operations with strategic company goals through long-term IT strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Strengthen cybersecurity and conduct risk assessments across all sites.
- Ensure uptime and performance of core systems (e.g., ERP, SAP).
- Lead, mentor, and train IT staff to drive innovation and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years in IT experience with expertise in ORACLE and PMS (Opera/Prologic) and remote connectivity (Starlink/Satellite).
- Proficiency in network management, cloud solutions, and system administration.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
