About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (Permanent) position is available with immediate effect at Profile Personnel, a leading recruitment agency based in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the organization.

- Direct accounting systems / internal controls
- Direct accounting processing
- Manage internal audit functions
- Manage management accounting functions, including:
- Reporting
- Operating budgets
- Forecasts
- Capital budgets
- Business development & feasibility studies
- Direct financial management functions, including:
- Treasury
- Capital finance
- Financial policy
- Dividend policy
- Manage risk management functions, including:
- Credit management
- Asset financial protection
- Insurance – assets, values, risks
- Manage staff management functions, including:
- Staff management
- Recruitment
- Manage tax functions, including:
- Tax planning & strategy
- Tax compliance
- Direct payroll functions, including:
- Payroll
- Compliance
- Manage IT functions, including:
- IT staff
- Infrastructure
- Development
- Serve as a member of the Remuneration Committee
- Provide oversight on forestry planning, specifically yield planning
Requirements
- CA (SA) qualification
- 15 years of relevant financial management experience
- Proven track record in the functions of financial accounting, management accounting, financial management, commercial transactions and tax.
- Strong computer literacy
