About the Role
Our client in the Telecommunications industry is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a retail expert with excellent communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
• Staff sales training and customer liaison
• Ensure sales are highlighted aggressively
• Calculate and Manage Store Targets
• Brand knowledge and training on Stock
• Ensure merchandising standards is kept up to date in all stores
• Manage staff performance and staff leave
• Ensure company procedures are followed
• Manage Appraisals for Staff
• Process AOD’s and process them on the system
• Follow up and Manage all stock related Repairs
• Prepare for Stock Take and ensure that Stock Take is done accurately
• Replenish store by ordering from HQ to Manage Stock Levels
• Monitor stock required in other stores
• Ensure all reports are submitted timelessly
• Spot Stock Checks
• Monitoring and clearing of dead stock
• Weekly Stock Counts on items to be re-ordered
• Assist with events, planning, preparation and attendance
• Implementing new systems once approval from management is received
• Ensure staff are always in uniform and presentable
• Manage working hours and Rosters
• Issuing of staff contracts and warnings once approved
• Receiving of IBT’s
• Calculate and issue daily targets based on monthly targets based on monthly target figures
• Cash up training for new staff as well as refresher training
• Check Cash ups are done accurately
• Train new staff members
• Mentor and Train Staff
• Deal with Staff complaints and issues
• Hold Staff Meetings regularly
• Daily reporting to Operations and General Manager
• Rotating between Stores
• Implementing promotions and sales when required.
• Customer liaison / Queries / Stock Requests / Complaints
• Insurance quotes
• Authorizing of discounts for customers when required
Requirements
• Pastel Evolution
• Excel
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work retail hours
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Knowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brands
• Minimum 2 years working experience as a Retail Store Manager
• Sales Manager of all Stores
