About the Role
Aleon Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Shift Boss/Shift Supervisor to join their team in Burgersfort, Limpopo, in the Chrome mining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing underground operations and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise underground mining operations
- Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act regulations
- Manage personnel and resources effectively
- Conduct site inspections and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement safety protocols
Requirements
- Underground Mining Supervisor experience with at least 2 years of working experience
- Underground Trackless Mining experience with at least 5 years of working experience
- Previous experience in a Chrome Mining Environment is an added advantage
- Ability to carry legal liability in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act for 2.15.1 and 2.92
- Grade 12
- Valid Competency Certificate under Supervisory Skills
- Valid Blasting Certificate for underground mining
- Training Certificate in Management skills (added advantage)
- Valid driver’s License
