About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Feed Mill Supervisor to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our production management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our feed mill, ensuring high-quality products and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and quantity targets
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product safety and consistency
  • Supervise and train staff to achieve optimal performance and productivity
  • Manage inventory and ordering systems to minimize waste and optimize resource allocation
  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Diploma in Food Technology or related field
  • 5+ years experience in a supervisory role within a feed production facility
  • Feed Miller certification
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Strong Microsoft skills
  • Excellent knowledge of animal feed production processes
  • Expertise in quality control measures

Qualifications

  • National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
