About the Role

The Training and Development Intern will provide comprehensive administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Training and Development team, offering hands-on experience in the full training lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and learning management systems/digital databases.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials, presentations, manuals, and handouts.
  • Schedule training sessions and manage calendars for Training and Development Manager, facilitators, venues, and participants.
  • Handle internal and external correspondence related to training programs (e.g., invitations, confirmations, follow-ups).
  • Support logistics for training sessions (venue booking, catering, equipment setup).
  • Track attendance and compile feedback forms after sessions.
  • Assist in monitoring completion of e-learning modules and compliance training.
  • Prepare reports on training activities, attendance, and evaluation results.
  • Ensure proper filing of training-related documents for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Respond to queries from employees regarding training topics, schedules, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be well presented, professional, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Some working experience will be advantageous.
