About the Role
The Mpumalanga Camp Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team at Greater Kruger National Park. As a key member of our camp staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our campsites, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the campsite, including administrative tasks and logistical arrangements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing computer literacy skills to manage data effectively.
- Participate in conservation efforts, contributing to the protection and preservation of the Greater Kruger National Park ecosystem.
Requirements
- Matric certificate essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous (but not mandatory)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a safari, lodge, or hospitality environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong administrative, logistical, and organisational abilities
- Computer literacy essential
- Valid driver’s licence
