About the Role
Takora is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our infrastructure and security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise-level IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems
- Develop and maintain server and virtualisation platforms (e.g., Hyper-V)
- Configure and manage network infrastructure, firewalls, and Wi-Fi
- Implement and manage cybersecurity operations and controls
- Develop and execute backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
- Monitor infrastructure and respond to incidents
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary IT qualification
- 7–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering
- Enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity experience
- Experience with server and virtualisation platforms (e.g., Hyper-V)
- Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and Wi-Fi
- Experience in cybersecurity operations and controls
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Experience in infrastructure monitoring and incident response
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
