About the Role

GMI Advisory is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our support team, you will provide technical support and training for our clients’ Dynamics 365 CRM, SCM, and Finance applications, as well as other key applications. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support and training for Dynamics 365 CRM, SCM, and Finance applications
  • Monitor and review user transactions, changes, and right logs
  • Proactively manage application user entitlement
  • Respond to user queries and tickets in a timely manner
  • Engage clients’ change controls processes and procedures
  • Update incidents through their lifecycle
  • Provide inputs for SLA reports
  • Train users on the effective use of applications
  • Assist with testing of new functionalities
  • Develop and implement solutions for customers
  • Daily operational checks for system performance issues

Requirements

  • At least five years’ experience supporting users with Dynamics 365 CRM, SCM, and Finance applications
  • Previous experience within a full stack application support and maintenance
  • Azure certification will be advantageous
  • ITIL certification is an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through

Qualifications

  • BSC in IT/Computing or Diploma or related qualification
