About the Role
The Fuel Retail Association is seeking a skilled Shop Supervisor/Cashier Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our shops and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cash handling and processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Supervise cashiers and provide guidance on sales procedures and customer service standards
- Perform stock takes and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Lead by example and promote a welcoming and pleasant shopping environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Fluent in 2 of the official South African Languages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and write
- At least 2 years experience as a cashier or supervisor
- Punctuality, alertness, and attentiveness are essential for this role
