About the Role

As a Project Manager at Optimum Fire Protection, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from start to finish. This includes preparing project schedules, conducting pre-site visits, and ensuring that all necessary resources are in place. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress, reporting on project status, and liaising with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the project schedule before commencement
  • Carry out a pre-site visit to assess project requirements
  • Ensure sufficient labour and material resources are allocated
  • Secure knowledge of project deadlines to ensure timely completion
  • Set and monitor weekly targets for each site
  • Ensure that programmes are being adhered to
  • Monitor and report on projects
  • Notify management if any deadlines will not be met
  • Oversee quality control to ensure highest standard
  • Oversee and ensure sign offs are completed
  • Liaise with client project and contracts managers
  • Draw up reports on the status of various projects as required by clients or OFP Management
  • Assist in compiling monthly cost reports in conjunction with senior QSs on projects and report to directors
  • Ensure that project is cost-effective
  • Monitor and report on material usage
  • Carry out On-site measurements
  • Conduct surveys
  • Ensure H&S is being adhered to
