About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Operations / Supply Chain to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in retail or FMCG operations leadership, with a proven track record of cost-control and execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize supply chain operations to achieve business objectives
- Implement and maintain effective cost-control measures
- Develop and execute routing systems and logistics plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Relevant B-degree / Honours
- Min 7-10yrs experience in a senior operations leadership role within retail / FMCG
- Strong cost-control and execution discipline essential
- Must come from retail, FMCG, wholesale or a logistics-intensive environment
- Versed in ERP / WMS / routing systems like Syspro or Trackmatic
