About the Role
The Advisor Liaison Consultant – Retail Investments role at Rory Mackie & Associates involves serving the Financial Advisor Offices with matters related to client products, processes, transactions, web services, and general queries regarding investments. As a key member of the client liaison team, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service while promoting an innovative and entrepreneurial culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage flow of work items (Instructions, queries, requests)
- Resolve rejections via email or telephonic
- Manage exceptions of internal and external stakeholders
- Log and resolve queries; provide feedback on relevant queries as needed
- Manage all inbound calls from IFAs, their assistants, and administration office
- Work collaboratively with IFAs and all relevant stakeholders
- Submit, track, and give feedback on instructions to Advisors and Advisor Assistants
- Maintain agreed upon turnaround times on all administrative tasks
- Attend regular team meetings
- Understand the changing servicing needs of Advisors
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Offer assistance to brokers/broker assistants and train their assistants
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
- Business-focused degree
- RPE/CFA/CFP qualification advantageous
- Matric qualification having passed both core Mathematics and English
- Minimum 18 months experience with strong technical knowledge of Linked Products, Local Unit Trusts, and Offshore Funds essential
- Excellent understanding and navigation of clients’ system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package
- Excellent business writing skills
- Business Afrikaans (reading, writing, and speaking) advantageous
