About the Role
The Accounts Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. This role involves performing daily bank reconciliations, managing lease agreements, and overseeing fleet costs, among other key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor all account movements
- Reconcile petty cash and credit card statements; raise queries for discrepancies
- Manage lease agreements, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile creditors and ensure supplier payments are processed promptly
- Oversee fleet costs and submit PAYE reports
- Maintain accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations (Debtors, Payroll & VAT)
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom in Accounting or Finance
Qualifications
- 23 years of finance experience in an online computerized environment
- Preferably in manufacturing
- Experience with JDE systems is an advantage
