About the Role
The Business Unit Leader role is a critical position that contributes to the formulation and drive of the organisation’s long-term strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise, with a focus on delivering high-quality audit outputs and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the Balance Score Card (BSC) to measure organisational performance.
- Oversee audit operations in line with relevant methodology and standards, providing strategic direction and leadership support for sensitive and complex engagements.
- Ensure timely sign-off of all audit engagements and quality delivery of critical AGSA reports.
- Coordinate auditing activities with other internal Specialised Audit Service (SAS) activities to ensure objectives are met.
- Sign audit reports for significant and complex audits as per delegations.
- Lead and monitor the implementation of the audit strategy, driving stakeholder engagement and visibility through effective external engagements.
Requirements
- A minimum qualification of a registered CA(SA), RGA, or ACCA.
- At least 10 years relevant post-qualification experience with at least 6 years of experience operating at a senior management/executive level.
