About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Office Manager & Showroom Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client experiences, managing daily operations, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients in the showroom, selling products confidently
- Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and in-person professionally
- Process orders accurately using internal systems and CRM
- Maintain and update CRM data daily
- Track and update information in Google Sheets / Excel (intermediate skills)
- Support general office administration and ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with packing orders and warehouse tasks when required
- Learn Shopify, CRM automations, and smarter operational workflows
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency
Requirements
- High-energy, positive, and professional attitude
- Confident communicator in-person and over the phone
- Comfortable selling and engaging customers
- Strong Google Sheets / Excel skills (not beginner level)
- Organised, accurate, and calm under pressure
- Fast learner with a growth mindset
- Willing to assist across the business as needed
- Previous showroom, retail, or sales experience
- Experience with CRM systems or Shopify
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automations)
