About the Role
As a Field Sales Representative for our client, you will play a crucial role in expanding their presence in Cape Town and surrounding areas. With a strong focus on building relationships with hardware retailers and contractors, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Open new accounts and build strong relationships with hardware retailers and contractors across the territory.
- Plan and complete 8 to 10 face-to-face visits each day to ensure full coverage of the territory.
- Conduct hands-on product demonstrations to show buyers how to use power tools and safety gear.
- Process orders directly through a digital system to guarantee timely delivery within 48 hours.
- Verify that products are displayed well and priced correctly on store shelves to increase daily sales.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience in the hardware, construction, or industrial supply sectors.
- A valid South African Code 8 drivers license and reliable vehicle for daily travel.
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate with a practical understanding of hand tools, fasteners, and safety wear.
- Ability to speak both English and Afrikaans to connect easily with local store owners and site foremen.
