About the Role
We are seeking an experienced National Reefer & Regional Sales Manager to lead regional sales and drive growth in the reefer/cold chain vertical nationally. The successful candidate will focus on revenue, market share expansion, and value-added logistics solutions, while building strong customer relationships and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national goals
- Lead reefer/cold chain business development and intermodal solutions
- Drive uptake of value-added services and new market opportunities
- Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships
- Coach and lead the regional sales team, setting clear KPIs
- Monitor performance, pricing, and compliance to meet growth targets
Requirements
- Senior commercial and sales leadership experience within shipping, logistics, intermodal or cold-chain environments
- Strong understanding of the Western Cape export and reefer market, including perishables and cold-chain dynamics
- Proven ability to drive market development, new business growth and sales intensity at a regional level
- Demonstrated people leadership capability within matrix-managed organisations
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation capability and execution focus
