About the Role
Telebest is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team in Kempton Park. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations, managing production schedules, and ensuring customer deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify possible production issues
- Repair and routine maintenance of production equipment and facilities
- Stock management
- Perform basic electrical applications
- Ensure customers deadlines are met
- Read and understand technical drawings
- Work with hand tools and power tools
- Welding experience required (Tig, Arc, CO2, Spot welding)
- Manage site operations to ensure workplace safety
Requirements
- Matric or Technical Certificate
- Trade qualification
- Minimum 5 years working in a factory/production environment as a Workshop Foreman
- Working at heights certificate
- Site management experience essential
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
- Welding experience required (Tig, Arc, CO2, Spot welding)
- Knowledge of OHS to ensure workplace safety
