Job Description

Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Valid Forklift Operator Licence 24 years experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or FMCG environment Proficiency in the use of handheld scanning devices Physically fit and able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Ensure effective stock quality management at all times Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport bottles, raw materials, and finished goods Supply production lines with required materials timeously Conduct daily equipment checks, ensuring fuel/battery levels and forklift fluids are within acceptable operating standards Stack and store products in designated warehouse locations according to procedures Perform daily forklift inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance requirements Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards Assist with stock counts and inventory control using handheld devices when required Maintain high standards of housekeeping in warehouse and production areas Work closely with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams, maintaining clear and effective communication with inventory managers, coordinators, and warehouse supervisors Accurately check, load, and unload trucks in line with dispatch documentation
