About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our consulting engineering firm, you will be responsible for providing electrical design services to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform building services electrical design, including lighting, power, and distribution systems (DBs)
- Design and develop 11kV and 400V reticulation systems
- Work with Generator and UPS systems
- Develop knowledge of Solar PV systems for building-mounted installations
- Utilize AutoCAD & Revit draughting software to create detailed designs
- Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical design requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
- At least 5 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry
- Proficient use of AutoCAD & Revit draughting software
- Knowledge of Relux or Dialux software for lighting designs
