About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reservationist to join a well-established reservations office based in Milnerton, Cape Town. This is a fast-paced role suited to a detail-orientated, guest-focused professional who understands luxury hospitality standards and can manage end-to-end reservations with accuracy, efficiency, and warmth.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle reservations from enquiry to confirmation, including amendments and cancellations

• Respond professionally to client and agent enquiries via email and phone

• Capture bookings accurately and maintain detailed guest and agent records

• Generate quotes and confirmations, ensuring correct rates and inclusions

• Coordinate special requests, guest preferences, and operational notes

• Liaise with lodge teams and internal departments to ensure smooth booking flow

• Maintain high attention to detail in all documentation and guest communication

• Support reporting, filing, and general reservations administration

Requirements

Previous reservations experience within luxury hospitality, lodges, or hotels essential. Strong computer literacy and confidence using reservations systems and Microsoft Office required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary. Highly organised, deadline-driven, and accurate under pressure expected. Strong customer service mindset and professional telephone etiquette required. Team player with a positive, solutions-driven attitude.

Salary: R20,000 per month. Live-out role, office-based in Milnerton, Cape Town. Small monthly incentive applies after 6 months (performance dependent).
