About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Parts Picker Packer in Strijdom Park, Gauteng. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing items securely, and operating handheld scanners and computerized warehouse systems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse locations using pick lists and scanning systems
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Operate handheld scanners and computerized warehouse systems efficiently
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch and resolve any discrepancies
- Process urgent or priority orders within required timeframes
- Maintain picking accuracy and productivity standards
- Organize and restock picking areas to support smooth operations
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and handling instructions
- Assist with loading vehicles for deliveries when needed
- Report damaged stock, picking errors, or system issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in packing areas
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
- Computer literacy and ability to learn scanning and warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good hand-eye coordination for picking operations
- Physical fitness to walk, stand, and lift items throughout the day
- Ability to work at a steady pace and meet productivity targets
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
