About the Role
HotelJobs is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of our established lodge/timeshare property in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all infrastructure, facilities, equipment, fleet, and maintenance teams are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of maintenance, including infrastructure, facilities, equipment, fleet, and maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance with building safety standards and firefighting regulations
- Lead firefighting crews in grass fire response situations
- Maintain knowledge of high voltage power lines/transformers and generators
- Understand principles of PV systems
- Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in maintenance management
- 3+ years experience in project management
- 2+ years experience in fleet management
- First Aid Level 3 certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and safety compliance
- Experience leading firefighting crews or crew bosses
