Ladysmith: Mould Store Trainee

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and reliable trainees to join our team in a mould store environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude to grow within a fast-paced, industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Use abrasive blasting to clean mould parts
• Maintain cleanliness and check surface quality
• Perform non-abrasive precision cleaning of mould surfaces
• Set up and operate dry ice blasting machine safely
• Prevent moisture retention and report abnormalities
• Remove and replace inner bladders in moulds
• Inspect and prepare bladders and mould surfaces
• Ensure correct fitment and record changes
• Follow safety and PPE requirements
• Keep work area clean and support team operations
• Participate in training and task rotation for multi-skilling

Requirements

Basic mechanical knowledge or technical aptitude is required. Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
