About the Role

WENZ is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Brackenfell, South Africa. As a key member of our sales and project teams, you will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive pricing for glass and aluminium projects, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and contributing technical expertise to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete estimation function for a range of glass and aluminium projects, including custom and commercial products.
  • Ensure accurate and competitive pricing to support the sales process.
  • Assist with sales administration and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the sales and project teams to ensure correct costing and pricing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and supplier pricing.
  • Support business growth by contributing technical expertise and structured planning.
  • Build and guide Sales and marketing team.

Requirements

  • Estimating expertise with a strong understanding of pricing and cost principles in the Glass & Aluminium industry (essential).
  • Proficiency in Starfront & Bizman or similar software.
  • Strong technical ability and understanding of glass and aluminium products.
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A structured and process-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive and deadline-driven approach to work.
