About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee all aspects of our luxury lodge operations in Thabazimbi, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff across all lodge departments to ensure operational efficiency
- Oversee overall lodge operations and delegate tasks effectively to the management team
- Assist with administrative duties and prepare month-end reports
- Ensure the lodge operates within budget and manage financial performance
- Operate POS systems to manage charges, corrections, and transactions
- Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction
- Organise and supervise the team to perform efficiently and to lodge standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in lodge management
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to mentor, train, and motivate team members at all levels
- Strong organisational, logistical planning, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Business-oriented with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to analyse and control costs, losses, and budgets
- Resilient under stress and pressure
Qualifications
Grade 12 required. Qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a relevant field advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
