About the Role
The Technical Marketing Engineer is a critical component of data-driven sales steering and technical product readiness at FOUR POINT 0. This role bridges the gap between engineering, supply chain, and commercial strategy by leveraging advanced analytics to automate sales tasks and ensure complete supply chain readiness for new product launches and promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Launch & Lifecycle Readiness: Plan and execute supply chain readiness for new product introductions (NPI) and significant lifecycle events, ensuring complete readiness across sourcing, logistics, and production.
- Promotional Execution: Align inventory and logistics planning with marketing for promotions, analysing demand forecasts to maintain adequate stock without overstocking.
- Strategic Sales Steering: Design and automate the creation of sales opportunities and tasks within the CRM (NetSuite) based on technical data triggers and analytics.
- Marketing & ROI Tracking: Monitor the rollout of new products; track sales velocity and performance against marketing objectives to ensure ROI.
- Technical Pricing & CPQ: Build and maintain pricing models that reflect technical complexity to drive higher win rates.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Work with engineering to review the market suitability of engineered solutions and ensure processes meet cost, lead time, and quality targets during campaigns.
- Forecasting & Operations Planning: Develop accurate forecasting models that align sales demand with technical inventory requirements.
- Commercial Insights: Present technical and commercial recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business opportunities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics).
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience within an industrial or technical sector, ideally involving supply chain planning or new product introduction processes.
- Systems Literacy: Power user of ERP/CRM, CPQ, and BOM management.
- Technical Translation: Ability to translate technical specs into commercial value and influence veteran sales teams with data insights.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, process-driven approach to both data and supply chain logistics.
