About the Role

The Workshop Manager Motor Industry role is a critical position within our Service Department, responsible for ensuring manufacturer and dealership targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure service quality standards and profitability targets are consistently achieved
  • Plan, manage, and control workshop workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Address and resolve all workshop-related operational issues
  • Liaise with OEMs to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and requirements
  • Develop and implement marketing and operational strategies to grow workshop performance
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the workshop team to foster a high-performance culture
  • Ensure overall cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping of the workshop at all times

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (tertiary qualification in a relevant field will be advantageous)
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Workshop Manager or Service Manager within the motor industry
  • Strong management and leadership capabilities
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to drive performance and achieve targets
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Clear criminal record
