Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a prominent manufacturing company. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to precise specifications.

Your expertise in programming, monitoring, and optimising machine operations will be critical in ensuring production efficiency and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machinery for various manufacturing processes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Operate CNC Milling machines and Wire cutter to manufacture components
• Program CNC machines and optimise machine performance
• Machine Uptime: Maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues that may arise
• Develop Prototypes, verify tests/trials and Manufacture tools to required specifications
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace and perform routine maintenance on machines

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification in machining or engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Knowledge of Technical drawing software packages, e.g. Mastercam, viscam , AutoCAD, etc.
• Min. 3 years experience operating CNC milling machines
• Basic understanding of GD&T
• Programming G- code & Mastercam
• Proficient in programming and operating CNC machines
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
