Job Description
Our client is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team in Stellenbosch, WC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing logistics, and supporting various business functions, including administration, research, and development.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and retailers.
- Conduct stock takes and manage inventory levels.
- Oversee logistics, including sending out parcels and stock to retailers.
- Handle social media campaigns and assist with business growth initiatives.
- Conduct research and development, including publishing medical papers and overseeing clinical trial logistics.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Perform basic accounting and administrative tasks.
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
- Work with vendors to procure necessary materials and services.
- Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Develop and implement streamlined operational procedures.
- Assess and enhance workflows for continuous improvement.
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvements.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators.
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
- Track project timelines and milestones.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
