The person should be a self-starter with good communication skills, being able to work in teams. The person should have strong attention to detail attributes, high numerical and written accuracy and attention to detail
- Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics
- Good hand to eye coordination
- Knowledge of company Safety regulations
- Matric with Pure Mathematics – NOT NEGIOTABLE
- Ability to physically pull pallets
- Ability to physically load stock into trucks and offload multiple deliveries daily
- Medically Fit
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Responsible for picking materials for production. Ensure that stock is picked as per the production picking lists and provided to production on time and in full. Material shortages to be reported real time and documented. Accurate qty’s and correct material codes.
- Offloading of multiple deliveries received daily with accurate completion of required documentation.
- Valid Forklift License Code F1A / F2A + K
- General housekeeping function to be performed and maintained daily to ensure food safety compliance and EHS compliance within area of normal activity.
- Adhere to all EHS and Food safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Complete daily and weekly food safety inspections that are applicable to functional area within the RMS.
- Report all faults and breakdowns of relevant Forklifts and equipment to Store person.
- Maintain daily cleanliness of forklift machinery/equipment and general area of work activity.
- Ad Hoc duties as and when required.
- Shift work required.
- Weekend work required.
- Mandatory Monthly cycle counts to be affected on all materials in RMS.
