About the Role
Nelson Mandela University is seeking an Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of Educational Psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate teaching and learning in the field of Educational Psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct, publish and promote research in the field of Educational Psychology.
• Participate in research collaboration that will lead to publications and conference presentations in the field of Educational Psychology.
• Engage in postgraduate supervision in Educational Psychology.
• Participate in academic and community engagement.
• Participate in Faculty Administration.
• Engage in the assessment of School-Based Learning and Teaching.
Requirements
• A relevant PhD degree in the field of Educational Psychology is required.
• An additional professional psychology qualification will be an added advantage.
• Qualification and experiences must reflect a sound knowledge of the field of Educational Psychology.
• Experience (5-10 years) in the teaching of teaching Educational Psychology at a university level.
