About the Role
Phakisa Holdings is seeking a Quality Controller to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for on-line inspection of intermediate products and finished products during production
- Monitoring production process to reduce substandard quality risks
- Raising Quality Incident cards for any incidents
- Ensuring equipment and testing tools are calibrated
- Approving in-process production by confirming specifications
- Documenting inspection reports and maintaining station cleanliness
- Reporting abnormal findings to department head
- Supporting quality in production by performing on-line tests
- Issuing batch manufacturing documents and conducting investigations when required
- Training and coaching production line staff
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 4 years of experience OR Scientific qualification with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical material
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
