About the Role

Sasso Consulting is seeking a seasoned HR Legal & Compliance leader to head up the Human Resources division in our Midrand office. As a senior management role, this position requires deep expertise in labour legislation, HR governance, and employment-related legal compliance. The successful candidate will ensure that all HR practices, employment contracts, disciplinary processes, and internal compliance frameworks are legally sound, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full HR function
  • Develop and implement compliant HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee workforce planning and performance management
  • Support executive leadership on HR risk matters

Requirements

  • 10 years senior HR experience
  • Strong, proven knowledge of South African labour law
  • Extensive experience managing complex employee relations
  • Experience in a regulated environment (gaming, financial services, insurance, etc.)
  • Strong contract drafting and policy development skills
  • Proven ability to lead and structure an HR division
