LEGAL PRACTITIONER
FOR A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS

R35 000 CTC
We are recruiting for a qualified Legal Practitioner to provide interim support within a Legal, Risk and Compliance function operating in a regulated public-sector environment. The role is aimed at strengthening legal capacity and ensuring timely delivery of legal and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, vetting, and reviewing contracts, SLAs and MOUs
- Conducting legal research and preparing opinions
- Supporting litigation processes and coordinating with external attorneys
- Assisting with policy development and legal compliance documentation
- Providing general legal advisory support across the organisation
- Supporting labour-related matters and internal legal processes
- Maintaining legal and risk registers, and contributing to compliance tracking
- Preparing reports and submissions for executive stakeholders
Requirements:
- Completed LLB Degree
- Admission as Attorney/Advocate
- 3–5 years post admission experience in public sector
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, SLAs and MOUs, drafting legal opinions & policies
