About the Role
The Seafreight Forwarding Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling the seafreight forwarding operations of our client’s business, utilizing their extensive experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control seafreight forwarding operations
- Coordinate with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics
- Monitor and analyze freight forwarding data to optimize operations and improve efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Requirements
- 5 years experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry
- Strong knowledge of seafreight forwarding procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in freight forwarding software and systems
Qualifications
- Formal education or relevant certification in logistics, transportation, or a related field (if applicable)
