About the Role
Kerry Kopp Consulting is seeking an experienced Team Leader in Blow Moulding to join our team in Pinetown. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to ensure efficient production processes, high product quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the day-to-day leadership of the team
- Maintaining efficiencies of 85% or higher
- Ensuring product quality meets and exceeds expectations
- Monitoring raw material usage and machine performance
- Coordinating on hold products and ensuring correct packing and labeling
- Liaising with quality inspectors for standards compliance
- Allocating staff and assisting at machines as needed
- Ensuring safety standards adherence and high housekeeping standards
- Assisting with Maintenance and Mould changes as required
- Process Optimization and recipe creation for new products
- Managing machine spares, maintenance, and checks completion
- Participating in weekly Production Meetings
Requirements
- Matric and trade tested, technical Diploma advantageous
- 2 years as a Shift Setter in production
- Blow moulding experience beneficial
