About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Banqueting Coordinator to join our 5* property in City Bowl, Cape Town. As a key member of our events team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional banqueting experiences for our discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all aspects of banqueting events, including catering, decor, and logistics
Ensure seamless execution of events, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth
Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell existing clients
Maintain accurate records and reports, including event budgets and inventory management

Requirements

2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Proven experience in a reservations environment, preferably in fine dining or banqueting
Strong numeracy, verbal, and written English skills required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
