About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge based in the Greater Kruger. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional who is passionate about guest delight, strong team leadership, and delivering a world-class safari experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the lodge, ensuring seamless guest experiences
  • Oversee front-of-house staff, including reception, dining, and concierge services
  • Coordinate room division tasks, including housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to budgeting processes
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a 5-star boutique lodge or Big 5 reserve environment
  • Hospitality Management qualification
  • Strong operational and financial management experience
  • High emotional intelligence and people management skills
  • Experience in hospitality and service training, with room division knowledge
  • Practical maintenance understanding
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Salary & Benefits

  • R38,000 – R40,000 per month | Live-in Position
