Job Description

Requirements & Qualifications Minimum of 10 years experience in the agricultural industry, with at least 5 years in a management role Strong background in horticulture and crop production, preferably within the vegetable sector Proven experience managing agricultural operations from planting through to harvest, packing, and logistics Solid knowledge of production planning, budgeting, cost control, and yield optimisation Experience in procurement, supply chain, and strategic sourcing within an agricultural environment Understanding of retailer technical and audit requirements (advantageous) Experience supplying produce into major South African retail value chains (advantageous) Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and managing farm teams Knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the (processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTCs clients and/or verification information suppliers.
