Lodge Manager | Luxury Safari Camp | Masai Mara, Kenya Salary: USD 3,000 USD 3,500 NETT Accommodation: Live-in Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Lodge Manager for a luxury safari camp in the Masai Mara, Kenya. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the launch and growth of multiple new properties, with potential career progression into a General Manager role within one of the upcoming lodges. The successful candidate will oversee all lodge operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the development of a high-performing team in a luxury safari environment. Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management, preferably in luxury safari camps Strong guest service orientation and interpersonal skills Experience managing, mentoring, and developing staff Solid operational management and financial oversight experience Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and resilience Senior-level experience with ambition to progress into a General Manager role Willingness to work a 3 months on / 1 month off cycle Key Responsibilities: Manage all lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams Provide a highly guest-facing, professional service to ensure exceptional satisfaction Act as 2IC for the property, overseeing operational excellence and team performance Support the opening and launch of three new properties Oversee staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain service standards Manage reservations, bookings, and guest enquiries efficiently Maintain stock management, procurement, and inventory control Monitor operational budgets, costs, and financial reporting Implement and maintain SOPs and compliance with health and safety standards Foster a positive workplace culture and maintain staff motivation and performance Additional Benefits: Visa and local medical aid included One annual flight Laptop and cellphone provided Discounts on accommodation and F&B at any property This is an exciting opportunity for a senior hospitality professional seeking a leadership role in a luxury safari environment with long-term career growth.
