About the Role
Aquila Private Game Reserve Ltd is seeking a skilled Debtors Clerk to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our administration department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel’s accounts and finances.
Key Responsibilities
- Saving of invoices
- Payment allocations
- Working on various booking sites back-end portals
- Working on the City Ledger
- Completing a daily cash-up before leaving at the end of the day
- Ensuring all invoices are saved on One Drive by 1st working day of new month for account and non-account clients
- Saving all statements on 2nd working day of new month
- Assisting with daily duties in case team members are off sick or on leave
- Addressing queries within 48 hours
- Attending to other tasks assigned by the Debtors Manager
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification (beneficial)
- Previous experience in debtors within the hospitality sector (beneficial)
- Knowledge of hotel operations and standard procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook (not negotiable)
