Job Description

A specialist supplier to the mining sector is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to grow its footprint within hard rock mining operations . This opportunity is suited to a technically strong sales professional who understands underground mining environments and can confidently engage with mine management, engineering teams, and procurement stakeholders on high-value equipment solutions. Non-Negotiable Requirements Proven experience selling equipment or technical solutions into hard rock mining Strong knowledge of underground mining operations and equipment applications Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex technical discussions Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to mine sites Track record of achieving sales targets within the mining sector Job Experience & Skills Required Identify and develop new equipment sales opportunities within underground mining operations Maintain and grow relationships with key mining accounts Conduct site visits and technical consultations with engineering teams Prepare proposals, tenders, and commercial quotations Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to deal closure Monitor market activity and identify growth opportunities within the sector A tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mining, or Engineering-related fields will be advantageous.
