Job Description

A leading mid-tier mining company is currently looking for a ?????????? ???????? to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng!

Responsibilities:
Mechanical engineering design may include, but is not limited to:

Prepare plant layouts
Conveyor design
Chute design
Selecting suitable materials handling equipment
Design of structures and mechanical equipment in the mining industry
Hydraulic/Pneumatic design will be an advantage
Transform concepts into working designs
Oversee site installations
Commissioning of new installations
Attend site meetings to understand system requirements
Manage and co-ordinate contract draughtsmen and engineering consultants
Make sure quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into the design

Requirements:

BEng/BSc Degree in Mechanical engineering
7 years experience in materials handling & mechanical design in an engineering projects environment
Experience laying out processing plants
Experience in structural and mechanical design
Experience in design with CAD software (3 years) (SolidWorks)
